Android Users Can Now Enjoy Text Formatting Feature in Google Keep
Google has announced that its Google Keep note-taking app for Android is finally getting long-awaited text formatting features. This allows users to format their notes in different ways to better organize them. Users can edit and emphasize your text by bolding, underlining, italicizing and using heading styles.
For the uninitiated, Google Keep is the default note-taking app for Google’s Pixel phones, and you can install it on other Android phones as well, and it’s available on the web and iOS devices. It has been a popular simple note-taking app, but it lacks some essential design features that are standard in other note-taking apps like Samsung’s Notes app and Apple’s Notes app.
When will the feature be implemented?
Google states in the workspace update that the text formatting feature will roll out to all compatible Android smartphones “in the coming weeks.” This means that the feature will be rolled out gradually to users around the world – and not everyone will get it at once. So if you don’t get access right away – don’t worry, you will eventually get it in the coming weeks.
Google Keep is FINALLY rolling out text formatting support!I just updated the Google Keep Android app to version 5.23.322.05 and got the feature.
It seems the feature is slowly rolling out to some users. Let me know if text formatting is enabled for you! pic.twitter.com/PB0jmCZ0XH
