Apple AirTag 2 Delay Until 2025: Explanation Given
Apple AirTag 2 won’t launch next year, and according to new reports, the release timeframe has now been pushed to 2025.
Ming-Chi Kuo has revised his estimate for the product’s launch, which was previously pegged for the fourth quarter of 2024, but Kuo has now noted that mass production of the AirTag 2 has been pushed back to 2025, without giving any reason for this change.
Kuo has also talked about the possible integration of the AirTag 2 into the Apple Vision Pro headset, which may have played a big role in delaying its release by another year. It’s fascinating to hear the possible connections between AirTag and Vision Pro’s mixed reality headset. Understandably, both devices have the U2 chip and other AirTag 2 hardware upgrades to make it compatible. All these upgrades mean that the AirTag 2 will be more expensive than the previous version.
Apple clearly has plans for the next-generation AirTag, and isn’t just limiting its use to a tracking device. The company has announced a new Apple Pencil this week that has a USB C port for charging and does not support wireless charging. It also lacks pressure sensitivity, which is a crucial part of the Apple Pencil’s ticking.
The new so-called Apple Pencil is coming to India for Rs 7,990 and once again you only have it in white. According to reports, Apple will launch a new iPad Air and Mini this month, but they were put out by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who claims that these iPads will hit the market next spring.
