Apple Event 2023: 13-inch MacBook Pro With M3 Chip Unlikely To Debut in the Coming Week
Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is set to host its “Scary Fast” event on October 30. Despite earlier rumors that Apple plans to introduce a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 chip, a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has revealed. that the company is unlikely to reveal this new machine at an upcoming Apple event.
A new 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 chip is unlikely to be unveiled at Apple’s “Scary Fast” Mac event next week, according to a report.
In the latest issue of its “Power On” newsletter, distributed over the weekend, Gurman said the 13-inch MacBook Pro was running low on supplies and indicated it could be replaced next week.
“A new entry-level MacBook Pro, codenamed J504, is still in the works and will feature a base version of the M3 chip. Gurman has been reporting the device’s existence since April,” MacRumors reports.
This means that Apple will likely unveil a new iMac at an upcoming event, as well as 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, all equipped with M3-series chips.
According to Gurman, we shouldn’t expect other updated devices like iPads or AirPods to be revealed at the event. However, he recently said that Apple will release new AirPods Max and AirPods 3 next year and AirPods Pro in 2025 with a new design and significant improvements in sound quality.
