Apple is still working on a classical music app: all the details here
Tech giant Apple has released its second beta of iOS 16.4 to developers, and the update’s code revealed that the company is still working on its classical music app.
According to the beta version’s code, users will need to install the regular Apple Music app to listen to “Apple Music Classical,” reports MacRumors.
“To listen to Apple Music with Classical, you must install Apple Music,” reads a line in the MusicKit framework. The beta update also reintroduced the page-turning animation as an option.
So, in the Themes and Settings section of the Books app, there are now three options for turning a page – Curl, Side and None. iOS 16.4’s code also confirmed that South Korean users will soon be able to add credit and debit cards to the Wallet app for use with Apple Pay, indicating that iOS 16.4 will add Apple Pay to the country.
According to the report, the Podcasts app will also have a new home screen in the beta 2 update.
In August 2021, the company announced that it had bought the classical music service Primephonic and plans to release its own classical music application in 2022.
However, the application has not yet been published.
