Kuo talked about the 2022 debut of Apple’s “foldable product” and speculated that it could be either “a foldable iPad or a hybrid that combines elements of the iPad and iPhone.” In addition, Mark Gurman, who is known for his accurate insights from insiders, said in 2021 that Apple’s first foldable device could be on the horizon within two to three years.

We might see a foldable iPad mini before a foldable iPhone

According to recent developments, reports from South Korea suggest that the much-anticipated foldable device may serve as the successor to the iPad mini. The Elec reports that Apple is planning a small foldable iPad, which is expected to hit the market in 2026-2027. The screen size of this potential iPad could be between 7 and 8 inches, possibly replacing the current 8.3-inch iPad Mini.

Notably, both Samsung and LG are said to be working with Apple to design a foldable panel for this device.

Clam iPhone?
