Apple Watch Ultra 2 Expected To Feature New Colour Variants In 2021
In September, Apple, the tech giant headquartered in Cupertino, is anticipated to release its latest Apple Watch models, which will include the Apple Watch Ultra 2. These new watches will be launched alongside the upcoming iPhone 15 series smartphones.
According to a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s upcoming premium and most expensive smartwatch, the Watch Ultra 2, will be available in a new darker color option.
The current Apple Watch Ultra does not have different case color options. According to MacRumors, Apple considered offering a “dark titanium” color option for the current Apple Watch Ultra, but ultimately decided against it after testing because the designers weren’t happy with it.
According to Gurman, a “dark titanium” color option for this year’s model is still open given the current popularity of the device. Apple already offers different case color options for its Apple Watch Series 8 and SE models.
According to rumors, the second generation version of the Apple Watch Ultra could also be lighter than the first generation model. Weibo user Setsuna Digital claims that the weight of the new Apple Watch Ultra will be reduced, which may be due to the rumored 3D printed components used by Apple.
Apple is developing a new S9 chip based on the same technology as the A15 chip used in iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and other devices. The chip will reportedly be used in the regular upcoming Apple Watch Series 9 and the next Apple Watch Ultra.
In addition, Gurman recently said that the iPhone 15 Pro smartphone models will have a titanium frame, thinner bezels and a price increase. He suggests that with the new display technology, their displays would also have thinner bezels, reducing the size of the black border by about a third. The iPhone 15 series smartphones are said to feature a customizable button that replaces the mute switch.
Earlier speculations indicated that the iPhone 15 Pro smartphones might feature the latest Wi-Fi 6E technology, which provides users with high-speed wireless connectivity.
