Confirmed: Vivo X100 Series to Launch in India – Price and Expectations Revealed
Vivo X100 and X100 Pro smartphones finally have a release date for the Indian market. The company’s new X-series flagship phones continue the tradition of high-end Zeiss Optics cameras. Vivo competes with the likes of Xiaomi 13/14 series and OnePlus 12 in the market with these devices. The Vivo X90 Pro was a solid package that was launched in the country earlier this year, and the brand is all set to enter 2024 with its latest premium products.
Vivo X100 Series India Release Date
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro smartphones will be announced in India on January 4, 2024. Next week Thursday, Vivo will hold a virtual event to launch its new phones, where we will get to know the phones and their expected prices in more detail.
Vivo X100 series price in India and expected features
The Vivo X100 is priced at CNY 3,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant in China, so it is likely that Vivo will price the phone around Rs 50,000 in India. Similarly, the X100 Pro costs CNY 4,999, which suggests a price tag of over Rs 60,000 in India.
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, both models feature MediaTek’s latest flagship Dimensity 9300 chipset, offering configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Indian users will get the Funtouch OS version.
The big difference between the X100 and the X100 Pro is the latter’s additional camera and also support for wireless charging. The X100 has a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Instead, the Pro model has a 5400mAh battery with 100W wired fast and 50W wireless charging.
