Discover the Benefits of Microsoft Copilot’s AI Features: GPT-4 Turbo, Code Interpreter, and More
Over the past few years, Microsoft has been actively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into its various products like Microsoft 365, Microsoft Edge, and Windows. In its pursuit of an AI-driven future, the company has recently introduced a wide range of AI-powered products and services, including Bing Chat, its own AI chatbot, all consolidated under the brand name Microsoft Copilot. However, Microsoft’s AI advancements are not stopping there, as the company has announced plans to introduce numerous AI features in the near future. Get a glimpse of what’s in store for Microsoft Copilot, including GPT-4 Turbo, Code Interpreter, and the new DALL-E 3 model.
Microsoft Copilot Update: All upcoming features
1. GPT-4 Turbo – In a blog post, Microsoft announced the inclusion of the latest model of OpenAI, GPT-4 Turbo, which allows users to handle not only longer but also more complex tasks. It is currently in testing with a select number of users, but will be widely integrated into Microsoft Copilot in the coming weeks.
2. Dall-E 3 Model – The updated Dall-E 3 model has been introduced, allowing users to create images with even higher quality and precision as prompted. These features are already available to users and can be accessed by asking Copilot to create an image or by visiting bing.com/create.
3. Inline Typing – This feature allows Microsoft Edge users to select text on a website and ask Copilot to change it. The AI tool rewrites the selected text. Microsoft has announced that this feature will soon be available to all Edge users.
4. Multi-Modal and Search Grounding – Microsoft has announced that it will combine the power of GPT-4 with vision for Bing image search and web search data. This allows it to better understand the user’s queries. This feature will also be available soon.
5. Code Interpreter – Like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot also comes with a code interpreter that allows users to perform complex tasks such as more detailed calculations, coding, data analysis, visualization, and math. The code interpreter is currently being tested by selected users, and a wider rollout is expected soon.
6. Deep Search – Finally, Microsoft brings Deep Search to Copilot as well, which runs on GPT-4. It provides optimized search results for complex topics. It doesn’t replace Bing Search, but it offers an alternative for deeper and more versatile exploration of the web. Microsoft says: “Deep Search uses a variety of signals to determine the relevance and quality of each result, taking into account factors such as how well the topic matches, whether it is at a sufficient level of detail, how credible and reliable the source is, how recent and popular it is, and so on. “
All of these features are coming soon to Microsoft Copilot and are designed to improve the user experience by harnessing the power of artificial intelligence.
