Elon Musk’s X experienced a decline as numerous users encountered difficulties accessing their timelines on the microblogging platform. Frustrated users resorted to expressing their grievances on alternative social media platforms due to their inability to utilize X. According to Downdetector.com, the problem emerged at around 10:50 AM IST, resulting in over 81,000 reports of Twitter inaccessibility by approximately 12:20 AM IST. The issue has affected users worldwide, indicating its widespread nature.
X outage
Downdetector, which tracks outages by aggregating status reports from multiple sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform, appears to be on the rise in complaints about X outages. According to the website, 71 percent of all reports said they had trouble accessing the website, while 23 percent said the app didn’t work properly for them. Another 6 percent encountered service-related problems. Both the app and the web version of X seem to be affected.
Exact information about the cause of the problem is not known. No official statement has been made on the matter at the moment.
