On Sunday, the spacecraft completed its final de-powering operation and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) announced that the spacecraft is fit to land on the lunar surface at 6:04 PM IST on Wednesday.
The space strategist further added, “This is the process where you try to get the spacecraft into a circular orbit, and now it’s almost circular. Perigee is only about 25 kilometers. This is another deboosting, orbit adjustment. Finally, on the 23rd, you’ll see it start to drop.”
Ghosh explains what could have gone wrong with Luna-25, earlier it was reported that the spacecraft has accelerated and will land on August 21, but on Saturday the spacecraft encountered some difficulties in orbit and the landing was delayed to Wednesday. . However, it got into a massive crash.
