Google Now offers translation of image text online: How it works
Google is now bringing new options to web users, and the list includes its translation feature. With the help of the desktop Google translator, you can now convert the text of the images to other languages.
For many years, you’ve been able to translate text to get voice responses. But now the online version of Google Translate will help you translate the text in the image. The feature is quite easy to use and all you need to do is visit the Google Translate website and get the translation done.
Google Translate for text on images: how it works
– Open the Google Translate website on your desktop
– Click the Pictures tab in the upper left corner
– Browse the image on your computer that needs to be translated
– You can upload a .jpg, .jpeg or .png image to translate
– You can see the original and translated images on your screen
– Google offers you the opportunity to translate text from images in 130 languages. The system translates the text to the default language you selected.
The feature also comes in handy as you can upload a translated image or even copy the translated text to show others on the go. Using this option on a mobile device was possible thanks to Google Lens, but now that this feature has gone online, even desktop users can take advantage of it when visiting other countries.
Google also has other useful tools for people on different platforms. Maps continues to evolve with a better user interface and a better app for different options. Car maps also got a much-needed boost recently, allowing you to stream content and navigate at the same time.
The company has also focused on the AI space with the Bard AI chatbot, which is expected to compete with ChatGPT and other chatbots in the near future. Google wants to integrate artificial intelligence into its search and other products.
