Google Pixel Tablet May Receive Stylus and Keyboard Similar to iPads
This year, Google introduced its inaugural Pixel tablet to the market, although it has only recently become available for purchase. Setting it apart from other tablets on the market, this Android device also includes a docking station.
But unlike most products, Google didn’t talk about other Pixel Tablet accessories like a stylus or keyboard. This does not mean that the company will not introduce these accessories later. And according to new reports, Google may already be working on a stylus and keyboard for the Pixel Tablet.
Details of this rumored product have been spotted in the Retail Demo app, which suggests that new products could be in the works, with a possible launch later this year. The app even shows the names of the products where the keyboard is called Keyboard for Pixel Tablet and Pen For Pixel Tablet referring to the pen.
However, there are no images of these products in the app, suggesting that Google could even bundle them with the next Pixel tablet. Google has added traces of these products to the Demo app, which means they were supposed to be shown to consumers in store, but if that’s the case, Google would have shown it with the Pixel Tablet at I/O 2023 last month. , which didn’t happen.
The Pixel Tablet has stylus support, which has become clear with a review of the tablet coming out this week. Some of them even used third party pens on Pixel Tablet and much to their surprise it worked.
The Apple Pencil didn’t work at all, which isn’t a huge shock. Apple has a stylus and magic keyboard for iPads, and they sell in great numbers. If Google is serious about its Pixel tablet, the dock won’t help its case for building an ecosystem, and the accessories seen in this Demo need to show up in the market.
