According to reports, the Google Pixel 8 series set to launch this year may include a feature that has been relied upon by Samsung users for several years. The upcoming Pixel 8 lineup is rumored to support external display mode, allowing users to connect their phone to a larger screen and perform regular PC activities through the device.

According to reports, connecting the display is possible via the USB C port on the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro models. We’ve already seen Samsung offer a DeX mode that lets you connect high-end Galaxy phones to computers with a USB cable, and now Google could finally have a similar option for Pixel users.
