HP launches new 15-inch Chromebook laptops in India: price, availability and specifications
PC and printer maker HP on Tuesday announced the launch of its latest affordable Chromebook laptops in India. According to the brand, the new portfolio features Intel’s Celeron N4500 processor to meet the needs of students.
The Chromebook range starts at Rs 28,999 in India and is available in two colours: Forest Blue and Mineral Silver. Other products in the Chromebook range include:

– HP Chromebook x360 13.3: Rs 44,999/-
– HP Chromebook 11: Rs 22,999/-
– HP Chromebook 14” Touch in use: Rs 26,999/-

According to the company, the all-new HP Chromebook 15.6 is equipped with a large screen and a stronger Wifi6 connection, as well as an exceptional battery life of up to 11.5 hours (HD), ideal for demanding projects and easy-to-use entertainment in the hybrid generation.
The latest Chromebook 15.6 is the best choice for young students. The smooth painted surface feels first class and gives it a more sophisticated look.
The new HP Chromebook 15.6 comes with a dedicated numeric keypad and oversized touchpad to improve productivity in a hybrid learning environment. It is also used as text-to-speech, which helps with multitasking.
HP QuickDrop enables quick and convenient transfer of work files and personal creations between devices. Compatible with Office365, the device offers hands-free access to Google Assistant, Google Classroom and other functions, promoting faster and smarter learning.
The new Chromebook has two microphones and a Wide Vision HD camera that supports numerous virtual calls. The display has micro-edge bezels and 250 nits and two speakers, creating a mini cinema right on the desktop.
In addition to existing device storage, users have access to Google One with a 12-month membership, including 100GB of cloud storage in Google Apps and services.
In line with HP’s commitment to sustainability, the HP Chromebook 15.6 is made from ocean-bound plastic and post-consumer recycled plastic, the company said in a statement.
