iPhone SE 4 Could Feature iPhone 14-Style Design, 48MP Camera, and More
According to reports, the iPhone SE 4 is unlikely to be released until 2025, but Apple may make big changes to its next SE model in the market. We’ve been hearing stories about a new-look iPhone SE for a few years now, but it could finally become a reality with the iPhone SE 4 in 2025.
As MacRumors highlighted in its report, the new iPhone SE 4 could borrow its design from the iPhone 14 series, making it taller and more modern than all the iPhone SE models launched so far. Apple clearly needs a new strategy to continue the iPhone SE lineup, and what better way than to update the internals and change its exterior?
iPhone SE 4 Release in 2025: What to Expect
The report mentions that the iPhone SE 4 will have a taller display, a wide notch like the iPhone 14 model, which means you can finally expect to see Face ID technology on the SE model. The company is expected to bring an A15 or even an A16 chip under the hood, which will keep it relevant for many years to come and give you flagship-like performance. Apple may have to make some intriguing changes, including bringing the iPhone SE 4 with USB-C charging under a new EU rule from 2024 onwards.
The company could also offer an Action button on the iPhone SE 4, suggesting that the new button will trickle down to all iPhone 16-series models next year. The updates don’t stop there.
The iPhone SE 4 should also get the 48-megapixel rear camera from the iPhone 15 series, meaning that in 2025 you could have not one, but two cameras on the back. And yes, it’s time to end Apple’s LCD journey altogether when we get the first OLED-filled iPhone SE model when it’s next released.
All these updates and changes will not only entice people to upgrade or switch from Android, but will allow Apple to increase the price of the iPhone SE 4 model, which retails for around Rs 50,000 in a market like India, which is already quite high. But with these changes, the price tag may start to make sense for many.
