John Warnock, Co-Founder of Adobe, Passes Away at Age 82
Adobe’s co-founder John Warnock passed away at the age of 82 on Saturday, as confirmed by the company in an early Sunday statement.
The cause of his death was not released.
“This is a sad day for the Adobe community and the industry he has inspired for decades,” Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said in an email to employees.
Warnock founded Adobe in 1982 with Charles Geschke. He retired as CEO in 2000 and was chairman of the board, which he shared with Geschke until 2017.
