Leaked CAD Renders Suggest iPhone SE 4 May Be Inspired by iPhone 14 Design
Rumors of a new iPhone SE 4 have been circulating for some time. Industry analysts such as Ming-Chi Kuo, along with several reports, have talked about the device time and time again. Now, 91Mobiles has obtained alleged CAD renderings of the device, which offer a glimpse into its possible design. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to replace the current iPhone SE 3, which has an A15 chip but may be more modern.
According to the report, Apple plans to introduce a major change in design for the first time in the series by introducing a 6.1-inch display similar to the iPhone 13 and 14 models. This represents a significant increase from the iPhone SE 3’s 4.7-inch IPS display with home button.
In addition, the renders show that the device may have a notch for Face ID, which resembles the design seen on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14. For the optics of the rear camera, a single camera setup is expected, which corresponds to Apple’s approach in previous SE models.
In terms of overall size and dimensions, the render suggests the device will measure 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7mm, matching the dimensions of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14. Notably, this information matches information reported by MacRumors in 2023, as highlighted by 91Mobiles. .
While the exact release date remains unclear, several reports point to a possible release in 2025. However, 91Mobiles suggests that the device could appear later this year, possibly alongside the rest of the iPhone 16 lineup.
