Leaked Details of Google’s Pixel 8 Pro Reveal Temperature Sensor, Color Options, and More
Google has once again unintentionally leaked its upcoming Pixel 8 Pro, joining the long list of leaked Pixel models. This time, the leak occurred through Google’s own 360-degree simulator, which provides a comprehensive view of the device, showcasing various sensors and ports through yellow dots. The leak not only confirms the presence of new features such as a temperature sensor and physical SIM slot but also reveals three of the available colors.
The simulator (since shut down) was initially spotted by X-user José Rubén, and others then posted their own images taken from the tool, as reported by The Verge. It reveals blue, porcelain and black colors and a home screen that looks similar to the previous Pixel 7 Pro. It also shows the SIM card slot and confirms the temperature sensor we saw in an earlier leak.
No way. It happened AGAIN. Google themselves leaked the Pixel 8 Pro.
You can see a full 360 degree view of the phone here, confirming the colors (Licorice, Porcelain, and Sky) as well as the components (like the temperature sensor). https://t.co/xfpn4t3tyR pic.twitter.com/UzmtR7ov1L

It doesn’t list any specs, but we already have a pretty good idea of them thanks to (yes) past leaks. The Pixel 8 Pro’s camera lineup should include a 50-megapixel main camera that lets in 50 percent more light, and a 64-megapixel ultra-wide Sony camera. It is also rumored to have a flat screen instead of the curved screens similar to the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro. It is also expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery and a maximum charging speed of 27W.
The Pixel 8 Pro should debut at Google’s next launch event, set for October 4 at 10 a.m. ET — the leaks coming right before the iPhone 15 launch on September 12, surely a coincidence. On top of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, we might see the Pixel Watch 2 and other devices.
