LinkedIn Ads Leverages AI to Expand Reach During Economic Turbulence
On Thursday, LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft Corp, announced that it is developing a video advertising solution that will enable advertisers to reach professional networking site users while they view content on streaming platforms.
It comes after LinkedIn introduced artificial intelligence features to help advertisers write ad content as part of a strategy to expand its ad business at a time when ad budgets have been hit by economic uncertainty.
“In-stream video ads can transform the way brands and buyers reach and engage their audiences,” Penry Price, vice president of marketing solutions at LinkedIn, told Reuters.
LinkedIn’s revenue grew 34 percent to $3.5 billion last year, thanks to advertising demand and a strong job market.
The company receives income from advertisement sales and orders for recruiters, job seekers and sales professionals.
The Information reported about it earlier on Thursday.
