Microsoft to bring Defender security software for iOS Android
Microsoft is planning to bring the Defender antivirus solution for mobile platforms. Which supports both Android and iOS Defender will be part of Microsoft’s enterprise suite of applications.
The company announced that they are going to release the final version of Defender application later this year, but they will have to show a preview of the RSA Conference, which is scheduled for next week.
“By providing the comprehensive protection across multiple platforms with a single solution and a streamlined view is more important than ever. RSA Conference next week, we will give a preview of our investment in wireless threat defense work we are doing to bring solutions for Android and iOS, “Microsoft said.
Microsoft has also released a public preview defender ATP (Advanced threat protection) for Linux. Microsoft had released a MacOS-supported version of protection software last year.
Microsoft has been known to do some pretty robust applications for mobile platforms, and it will be interesting to see what they are going to make Mobile Security. In particular, Apple iOS because Apple does not allow apps to scan for security threats to other applications or malware. Android, on the other hand, there are a lot of antivirus applications that support, but most of them are ineffective and unreliable.
