Moto G Play 2021 appears on Geekbench website revealing some specs
Motorola is planning to bring a new budget or mid-range smartphone to the market. And it fits into the popular Moto G series lineup. There is no official announcement about it, but what revealed this information was the mysterious Motorola handset appearing on Geekbench. The device is swung under the name Moto G Play (2021). And like every other phone, since this also shows up on the benchmarking website, it revealed some specs as well.
As reported by MySmartPrice first, the list does not mention the exact model of the processor that will power the Moto G Play (2021), speculation points to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 octa-core SoC. However, the source code lists Adreno 610 as GPU, which is present in Snapdragon 460.
The list also shows the smartphone running Android 10 and having 3 GB of RAM. The device scored 253 in the single-core test and 1233 in the multi-core test.
Their is still no teaser, rumors and speculation on the launch date. But we expect it to arrive early next year.
The appearance of the smartphone on GeekBench may be linked to the recent Moto G10 Play leaks published a few days ago. Based on the renderings leaked by OnLeaks, the Moto G10 Play sport looks like a combination of the Moto G9 and the Moto G9 Plus. There is a punch hole display that the camera has placed in the left corner of the screen. The square-shaped rear camera module features three sensors with an LED flash.
The leak also mentions that this Motorola smartphone with model number XT-2117 has a 6.5-inch screen. The smartphone is also confirmed to pack a 4.8050mAh battery based on its T V Rheinland certification. It also recently received FCC certification.
