Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40 to be Released in India on July 3
Motorola is preparing to release its latest foldable smartphones, the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra, in India on July 3rd. The company has announced that these new models will be exclusively sold on Amazon. All the specifications for both phones have been disclosed, with the primary distinction being the size of the outer display.
Motorola Razr 40 price (expected)
The Motorola Razr 40 series is already on sale in the global market. The Motorola Razr 40 was launched last month at a starting price of CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 46,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant in China. According to a leaked Amazon listing in India, the upcoming Motorola Razr 40 series will be available in the country at a starting price of Rs 59,999.
Motorola Razr 40 series color options
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is available in Fengya Black, Ice Crystal Blue and Magenta, while the vanilla Razr 40 is available in Azure Grey, Cherry Powder and Bright Moon White. We can expect these color options to be available in India as well.
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, Razr 40: Specifications
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 OS, has a 3.6-inch OLED flip display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and when opened, reveals a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. It has a dual-camera system with a 12MP main camera with f/1.5 aperture and OIS, and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens (also doubles as a macro lens) with f/2.2 aperture. It also has a 32MP camera for selfies. The phone is powered by a 3800mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging.
On the other hand, the Razr 40 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It gets a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED internal display and a 1.9-inch AMOLED cover display. It gets a different main camera with a 64MP main sensor, but shares the Razr 40 Ultra’s 13MP ultra-wide sensor. It also has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
