Netflix India offers the first month at just Rs 5
Netflix is testing a new offer where users in India will get the first month at just Rs 5. Yes, you read that right. Netflix users who subscribe to a streaming service can get the first month of Rs 5.
However, this offer is not available to all users. Only those who subscribe to Netflix for the first time can be applied to this offer of Rs 5. Although among the new users choose only the lucky get this offer. Netflix regularly tests new features and subscription plans for its platform and this is another test.
“This is a new marketing promotion designed to help people find Netflix. Depending on its success, we can roll it more broadly, “Netflix spokesman said in a statement Hindustan Times.
The new R 5 Netflix offer is applicable regardless of the subscriber. Users can choose any Netflix plans – Rs 199 mobile plan, a plan of Rs 499, Rs 649 and a standard plan premium of Rs 799 plan. Any of these plans can be selected and the first month is available for Rs 5. Also features are available according to your Subscription Plan chosen by the user.
Netflix new offer came as no surprise when the company withdrew from its one-month free trial offer last December, India and other markets. The company had also launched mobile only plan to attract more users to its platform.
