New Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard released alongside iPad 2024 series- Explore specifications and features

Apple’s Let Loose event was broadcasted live today at 7:30 PM IST, revealing a range of new products. The highlight of the event was the introduction of the latest iPad Air and iPad Pro models, along with new accessories for the iPads. These accessories include the Apple Pencil Pro, which boasts several new features, and an upgraded Magic Keyboard. Both accessories have been redesigned and offer new functionalities compared to their predecessors. Explore what Apple has in store for the new iPad accessories.

iPad accessories: Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard

The new Apple Pencil Pro is equipped with a new sensor that supports the pinch gesture, which allows users to quickly change tools, line weights and colors. Gesture also supports a custom haptic engine that provides confirmation when users squeeze, double-tap, or click on a smart shape. The new Apple Pencil Pro also supports Find My for the first time, allowing users to forget about Apple accessories. Apple said the Pencil has “magical features and powerful new interactions that take the Apple Pencil experience even further.”

Along with the Apple Pencil, the company also announced a new Magic Keyboard designed for the new iPad Pro. The new generation Magic keyboard is thinner and lighter. However, it has retained the same design as its predecessor. The new iPad keyboard has a new function row that allows users to adjust screen brightness and volume. Additionally, the keyboard features an aluminum palm rest and a larger trackpad for haptic feedback, making it a MacBook-like experience for iPad users.

The Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro can be attached magnetically and also has a Smart Connector that connects power and data without Bluetooth. The keyboard is available in two color options: black with space black aluminum palm and white with silver aluminum palm.

Along with the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard, the company also announced the new generation iPad Air with the M2 chipset and the iPad Pro with the new M4 chipset at the Apple iPad launch event.

Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard prices

The new Apple Pencil Pro is priced at Rs. 11900 and Magic Keyboard is priced at Rs.29900. Both iPad accessories are available to order starting today and will be available in stores starting May 15.
