Nintendo to Release Follow-up to ‘1-2 Switch’ Party Game
Nintendo is set to release a follow-up to its popular party game, 1-2 Switch, on June 30th. The new game, called Everybody 1-2-Switch!, allows players to participate in some of its mini-games using their smartphones instead of Joy-Cons. The original game featured 28 mini-games designed to add excitement to social gatherings, including some unusual ones like putting a crying baby to sleep and pretending to be a supermodel on the runway. Another mini-game required players to milk a cow.
According to a report from Fanbyte last year, Nintendo has been working on a sequel for some time. However, test teams reportedly criticized the game, and families with children, Nintendo’s main reason for allowing matches with more than two participants, apparently found the minigames boring. The post wrote that people called the sequel “Horsesheet” because the host is someone who wears a horse mask. Could Nintendo fix their problems and create minigames that were fun enough to change the minds of testers? Not quite clear. In fact, the official product page for Everybody 1-2-Switch! Completely naked and mostly mentioning the game’s multiplayer capability. He also says the title includes everything from balloons to aliens.
The title will cost you $30 when it arrives. That’s significantly less than its previous launch price of $50, and at this point you’re as good as us whether that’s a good or bad sign.
#Everybody12Switch is coming to #NintendoSwitch on 6/30.
