Nokia G42 5G: Details Revealed Ahead of Launch
The Nokia G42 5G is set to be released in India on September 11, with Nokia providing a price hint on its official X account. Additionally, Nokia has announced the introduction of a new pink color option for global markets. The phone will be available for purchase on Amazon India.
Nokia’s official page on X posted a question to people. The company asked the public to guess the price of the new Nokia G42 5G. It offered two options: Rs. 16.xxx and Rs. 18,xxx. This suggests that the phone will cost less than Rs. 18,999. There can also be two versions of the phone at different prices.
In Europe, the Nokia G42 5G is already available at a price of 199 Euros, which is around Rs. 20,800. This price is for the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Apart from the price news, Nokia has also introduced a new color for the Nokia G42 5G outside India. This new color is called “So Pink”. It joins the already available ‘Grey’ and ‘So Purple’ options that have been around since the phone was first launched in June. But we don’t know for sure if this new pink color will be available in India.

- Nokia promises to supply it with two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.

- The phone has a large 5000 mAh battery and supports fast charging with a 20 W charger.
