Realme Buds Air 2 TWS earphones and smart bulbs to launch in Q1 2021

Madhav Sheth, vice president of Realme and CEO of Realme India and Europe, said the company will launch the Buds Air 2 TWS headphones in the first quarter of 2021. He also revealed that the company will introduce Realme-branded smart bulbs in the first quarter. .

In an interview with GSMArena, Sheth said the company plans to launch more products – over 100 products – as part of its AIOT segment in different categories in 2021.

2021 will be an even more exciting year for our AIoT segment, as we plan to launch over 100 products. We are working to build the Realme ecosystem in India, democratize cutting-edge technology and empower everyone’s life, Sheth said. .

Realme debuted in India in May 2018. Since then the company has emerged as a dominant player in the budget category, giving Xiaomi tight competition. Even though the initial products were smartphones and accessories, Realme has now focused on building its IoT portfolio. For example, he launched Realme Smart TV earlier this year.

Another key offering from Realme is the Realme Link app, a single platform to control all Realme smart devices in your home. Upcoming smart bulbs and other possible IoT products will likely work with this Realme Link app.

The most immediate thing to expect from Realme is the X7 Pro. The smartphone appeared on the company’s official India support page, hinting at the impending launch.

Just a quick recap: Realme had launched X7 Pro launched in China in September this year alongside X7. Some of the main features of the phone include MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ processor and a 6.55-inch display with AMOLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate.
