As people receive more emails and take more photos than ever before, the demand for online storage has increased. However, Google, which is the primary email and cloud storage provider for many people, has kept the 15GB storage limit, which is no longer enough for most people. In fact, Google’s Photos app used to have unlimited storage for high-quality photos and videos.
Currently, all new media uploaded to Google Photos count towards the free 15GB of storage. This is where Google One comes into play. Originally released in 2018, Google One is available in three subscription tiers: Basic with 100GB, Standard with 200GB, and Premium with either 2TB, 5TB, 10TB, 20TB, or 30TB of storage.
Google One subscription packages range from 130 to 9,750 rubles per month. In return, subscribers get more cloud storage beyond the standard 15GB and exclusive access to various Google One features — including the newly released Magic Eraser tool, which first appeared on the Pixel 6 but is now available on all Pixel phones and other subscription Android devices and iOS devices. Google One Basic
The basic Google One plan is the cheapest option as it offers 100GB of cloud storage, access to Google experts and additional benefits like Magic Eraser etc. More importantly, though it costs Rs 130, it can be shared with up to five people and costs Rs. 1300 per year.
Google One Standard
The Standard subscription level offers 200 GB of storage space and all the benefits of the basic package. This option costs Rs 210 per month or Rs 2100 per year.
Google One Premium
The Google One Premium subscription offers five storage options from 2 to 30 TB. The 2TB plan is priced at Rs 650/month or Rs 6,500/year, while the 5TB option costs Rs 1,625/month or Rs 16,250/year. The 10TB plan is priced at Rs 3,250/month and the 20TB plan is priced at Rs 6,500/month. The 30TB plan is the most expensive, at a whopping Rs 9,750 per month.
