Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has made a surprising announcement regarding the ongoing Sam Altman-OpenAI situation. According to Nadella, Altman and former OpenAI President Greg Brockman will now be joining Microsoft. This revelation follows the recent news that Altman will not be rejoining OpenAI, as the company has instead hired former Twitch CEO Emmett Shear.

This means that former OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and former president Greg Brockman now lead the advanced AI research group at Microsoft, one of the largest OpenAI investors with a stake of nearly $10 billion.
