Samsung Set To Unveil Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 On July 26
On July 26 (Wednesday), Samsung, the leading technology company from South Korea, will be hosting its Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. During this event, the company is anticipated to unveil the highly awaited foldable smartphones, namely the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. Additionally, Samsung will also introduce the new Galaxy Tab S9 and the Galaxy Watch 6 series.
The Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event will be streamed live on Samsung’s website, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel starting at 4:30 p.m. IST in India. The company has not announced the price and technical data of the new folding devices, but there have already been rumors about them.
According to reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will go on sale in India from August 14. Pre-bookings can be done on Samsung’s site, Amazon, Flipkart and Samsung’s exclusive retail stores with benefits of Rs. 5000 for advance bookers. Pre-orders for the mobile phones will start on July 26 immediately after their launch, 91mobiles said in a report.
Leaks also suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will come in three storage versions: 256GB, priced at 1,899 euros, 512GB at 2,039 euros, and 1TB at 2,279 euros. It is offered in black, blue and cream colors. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to have two storage options: 256 GB for 1,199 euros and 512 GB for 1,339 euros. It is available in cream, graphite, lavender and aqua green.
In terms of specifications, both Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are expected to get Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is rumored to feature a 7.6-inch Full HD+ (1,812 x 2,176 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED main display and a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED cover display. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is said to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1,080 x 2,640 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED main panel and a 3.4-inch external display.
