Samsung’s Galaxy S21 series could be cheaper than Galaxy S20 series
Samsung is preparing to launch the Samsung Galaxy S21 series soon and there has been leaks and speculation all over social media. The price of the Galaxy S21 series was announced on a South Korean blog called Naver and if these numbers are true, the Galaxy S21 series will be cheaper than the older Galaxy S20 series.
Besides this bit, alleged CAD renderings of the Samsung Galaxy S21 + have also been leaked. We know so far that the Samsung Galaxy S21 + likely comes with a 6.8-inch display and 120Hz refresh rate and minimal camera bump.
According to CAD renderings shared by CoverPigtou in collaboration with David from @xleaks, the Galaxy S21 + measures 161.55×75.6×7.86mm. These dimensions make it bigger than the size supposed on the Galaxy S21 and just a bit bigger than the older Samsung Galaxy S20 + which measures 161.90×73.70×7.80mm.
The design of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series camera appears to be different from the previous flagships. The renderings indicate that Samsung has managed to minimize camera shock while still maintaining three camera sensors. This time, the flash appears to be placed outside the camera module. The renderings also show a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille at the bottom.
Older leaks have indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S21 + may have a 120Hz refresh rate, 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, and a 4800mAh battery with plug. Support for 25W fast charging. The phone’s triple rear camera is expected to feature a 12-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens.
Samsung has yet to share information on the next flagship series of smartphones, but the new phones are expected to debut earlier than usual.
