Threads App Allows Users to Copy, Paste, and Duplicate Posts on the Web: Get the Details
Meta-owned microblogging platform Threads has launched several new features, including a copy and paste option and adding multiple posts for online users.
According to Instagram head Adam Mosser, you can now edit alt text for videos and photos when you post online. Threads users can copy and paste – or drag and drop – media attachments into your message. Users can also add multiple posts to a thread before posting.
Additionally, users can now see quotes and reposts by clicking on a post’s likes or views. “Hopefully this makes it easier to participate in online chat. Try them out and let us know if there are any other features you’d like to see,” Mosseri wrote on Threads.
X Rival recently launched two new features on its platform. The CEO of Meta adopted Threads and released the ability to post GIFs and polls. These features are currently available online.
Previously, users had to use third-party keyboards or copy/paste from other sources to send GIFs to the app, leading to inconsistent results. But the platform has introduced a built-in GIF button in the post creation window.
Located next to the image gallery button, this feature allows users to access the easily searchable GIPHY library and choose from a variety of GIFs for their posts.
“With polls, you can invite others to think about topics that interest you. And now it’s easier to find and add the right GIF to express your feelings,” said Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram.
Polls can have up to four options and choose who can answer them. The survey is open for 24 hours, and only those who participated will see the results upon arrival. The survey button appears as three horizontal lines in the toolbar after creation.
