Wozniak Hospitalized in Mexico: Apple Co-Founder in Need of Medical Attention
According to TMZ, Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple Inc., was admitted to a hospital in Mexico City due to experiencing symptoms similar to vertigo.
Wozniak, who left Apple in 1985, suffered symptoms while giving a speech at the World Business Forum, TMZ said.
People from Wozniak’s team are flying to the area on a private jet to check on her and see if she needs to be brought to the United States for further treatment, the website reported.
Representatives for Wozniak, 73, did not immediately respond to Bloomberg News’ request for comment.
Wozniak, known as Woz, co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs in 1976. Since leaving the company, he has remained an active entrepreneur and philanthropist.
