3 new WhatsApp features to start 2021 with
WhatsApp is ready to receive new features once 2021 goes into effect. Of course, the Facebook-owned messaging platform continues to add handy features to its repertoire, and there are plenty of them in the pipeline, here are three features that will be coming very soon.
1. The possibility of pasting several elements on the chat
According to WABetaInfo, the beta version of WhatsApp for iOS 2.21.10.23 is the first beta dedicated to the new year and offers the possibility to paste multiple images and videos into WhatsApp. WABetaInfo added that once this feature is deployed, users can select multiple images or videos from their photo gallery and hit Export and Copy . Now when you open WhatsApp and paste the content into the chat bar, all images / videos will be captured from WhatsApp and ready to send to whoever you want.
2. Audio and video calls on WhatsApp on browser and desktop
For anyone who uses WhatsApp on the desktop, the good news is that the audio and video calling feature will be available on the desktop soon. Just like WhatsAapp calls on your smartphone, you will be able to do the exact same thing online. However, WhatsApp is going to launch a limited launch of this feature in beta next year and even call buttons will have beta labels.
3. Updates to WhatsApp Terms and Privacy Policy
All WhatsApp users will need to agree to the new terms and privacy policy and if you don’t, you may need to delete your account on WhatsApp. As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will update its terms of service from February 8, although this date may be subject to change.
