Save the Date: Apple to Unveil iPhone 15 and Apple Watch Series 9 on September 12
Apple’s highly anticipated annual iPhone reveal is just around the corner, generating excitement among fans as the company gears up to impress the global audience. With only a few weeks remaining, Apple enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating their invitations to the Apple Special Event, where the latest iPhone models and other thrilling innovations will be showcased. These coveted invites could arrive within a couple of days.
Date confirmation for iPhone 15 launch event
An insider from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman initially pointed to a possible iPhone event on either September 12th or 13th. However, in his latest PowerOn newsletter, Gurman now reveals that sources are leaning towards September 12th as the likely date.
What to expect at the event
This year’s event promises to offer an exclusive glimpse of Apple’s innovative creations, including the much-anticipated iPhone 15, Apple Watch Series 9, and the updated Ultra version of the watch. The event follows the pattern established by last year’s iPhone 14 launch, which took place on September 7.
Similar to last year’s iPhone 14 launch, the September 12 event is expected to include a pre-recorded video available online, complete with an in-person gathering at Apple headquarters. Attendees lucky enough to attend in person will enjoy the privilege of being among the first to experience hands-on demos of the new iPhone and Apple Watch models.
A possible surprise for October
In addition to the exciting iPhone event in September, there are rumors that Apple may have another event in October. According to Gurman, they may introduce the first M3 Macs. Speculations continue as to whether this reveal will come through an official event or perhaps through a subtle press release, or it might even be revealed to YouTubers and tech sites before the official announcement.
If you’re waiting to upgrade to the iPhone 15 series, keep an eye on the price. Rumor has it that the prices, especially for the Pro models, may increase slightly. Stay tuned for more updates as we count down to Apple’s big September reveal.
