Jio True 5G Launched in India with Haptik’s WhatsApp Chatbot
Jio Haptik Technologies has introduced a revolutionary WhatsApp chatbot that transforms the way customers access Jio’s True 5G services. This innovative solution, part of Jio’s independent 5G network, eliminates the need for 4G infrastructure. With True 5G coverage already available in 236 cities in India, the chatbot provides users with a smooth way to check 5G compatibility and request connections based on their device and location. Available in English, Hindi, and Marathi, this advancement highlights Jio’s dedication to improving customer engagement and maximizing the capabilities of 5G technology.
Developed by Haptik, WhatsApp Assistant is a ground-breaking tool that helps both Jio and non-Jio users to check 5G compatibility nearby. Users can use the bot to query 5G availability based on device compatibility and geographic proximity. This bot is available in English, Hindi and Marathi on WhatsApp.
Aakrit Vaish, CEO and co-founder of Haptik, highlighted the importance of their WhatsApp chatbot as it enables customers to embrace 5G benefits such as better voice quality, low latency, edge computing and network slicing. The chatbot will act as an end-to-end solution for the 500 million customers who are expected to migrate to Jio True 5G. It helps customers at various stages including eligibility checks, lead generation, SIM delivery, device purchases and after sales support.
Chatbot offers personalization through dynamic menu options based on user type (postpaid and prepaid), device, location and outage management through PIN codes. With 5G’s improved mobility and enhanced connectivity, brands can improve brand-to-customer communications and personalize customer journeys using artificial intelligence.
Jio plans to leverage Haptik’s Proactive Messaging feature to reach out to new and existing users about the 5G launch to encourage adoption of this revolutionary network technology. Additionally, Haptik’s Click-to-Haptik initiative will help Jio run ads on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, create awareness about 5G and initiate conversations with users on WhatsApp about purchasing 5G connections.
