The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will reportedly be manufactured in India, while people have already shown the boxes of these models being assembled in India. Does this mean that these iPhone 15 models will be available at a cheaper price in the country?
Not quite, but you get the same price tags for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, which are Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900 for the base variants.
We already know that iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max prices in India are the Most expensive in most countries and buying them abroad will save you well over Rs 40,000. But does it make sense to buy an iPhone 15 or 15 Plus from other countries, not really, and we’ll tell you why.

As we mentioned, the iPhone 15 starts at Rs 79,900, while you have to pay Rs 89,900 for the base iPhone 15 Plus model. These are the prices that the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus were released in 2022.

In comparison, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have been launched in the US for $799 (roughly Rs. 65,500) and $899 (roughly Rs. 73,700). When you compare these prices with the iPhone 15 prices in India, the difference is around 16,000, but you also get a discount of Rs 5,000 on eligible HDFC debit cards in India, which further lowers the final price, meaning you’ll be buying the iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus in India rather than buying it from the US, doesn’t save much money.

Now, if you are going to buy iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus in Dubai, you have to pay AED 3,399 (Rs 76,700 approx) and AED 3,799 (Rs 85,800 approx) respectively. Once again, the price comparison of iPhone 15 models between India and Dubai is even lower than what you saved by buying in the US. In fact, you will only save a maximum of Rs 3,000 on these models if purchased in Dubai. And if you add the bank discount of Rs 5,000, the price difference favors buying from India.

Finally, the iPhone 15 is priced at S$1,299 (roughly Rs. 78,900) and the iPhone 15 Plus is priced at S$1,449 (roughly Rs. 88,000) in Singapore. This means that instead of spending money on shipping from Singapore, you can easily get an iPhone 15 or 15 Plus from India.
