Michigan Police Rescue Woman Who Fell Into Outhouse Toilet While Retrieving Apple Watch
On Tuesday, a woman in northern Michigan had to be rescued from an outhouse toilet after she entered it to retrieve her Apple Watch and found herself unable to get out.
A woman, whose name has not been released, landed on the toilet after dropping a watch at the Department of Natural Resources’ launch on Dixon Lake in Otsego County’s Bagley Township, state police said in a news release Wednesday.
Emergency services were called when the woman was heard screaming for help. The toilet was removed and a strap was used to lift the woman.
“If you lose an object in the outdoor toilet, do not try to go inside the sheltered area. Serious injuries can occur, the police said in the release.
State police did not say Wednesday if the woman was injured or if the watch was recovered.
Bagley Township is about 240 miles (386 kilometers) northwest of Detroit.
