Elon Musk Believes Instagram and OnlyFans Are Equally Valid Platforms
It seems that the animosity between X owner Elon Musk and Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg continues to manifest itself in new forms. Previously it was an alleged “cage match” and now the latest incident has Elon Musk comparing Zuckerberg’s Instagram to OnlyFans, a site that allows people to post adult content.
This latest incident came to light after an X account with the username cb_doge posted: “What’s the difference between Instagram and OnlyFans? Just a name.” In response, Elon Musk immediately replied, “Pretty much” with the X account.

For those unfamiliar with the background, the conflict between Elon Musk and Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg came to a head when Meta launched Threads – a direct competitor to X’s microblogging platform. This sparked a series of online spats between Musk and Zuckerberg, including talk of a cage match between the two tech leaders. During this time, Zuckerberg criticized Musk for not taking the match seriously and not setting a clear location for the event.
Musk had previously claimed that the “Zuck v Musk battle” would be broadcast live on X, with all proceeds going to charity for veterans. However, the match never took place.
Since then, Musk has been constantly teasing Zuckerberg at every opportunity. Most recently, Musk proposed that Mark Zuckerberg rename Facebook “Faceboob” for a billion dollars. Interestingly, this is not the first time Musk has made such an unusual request. Last month, he offered Wikipedia’s owner $1 billion if it would change its name to “dickipedia.”
