Samsung launched its new fitness tracker in India on Friday – the Galaxy Fit3, which features advanced health tracking technology and an AMOLED display. Samsung is ready to do battle with other affordable fitness trackers on the market, and the Galaxy Fit3 looks like a worthy addition.

The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 is priced at Rs 4,999 and is available in three colors – Grey, Silver and Rose Gold. Samsung offers the fitness tracker through the company’s official website and at leading online and offline retailers.

The Galaxy Fit3 features an aluminum body and a 1.6-inch AMOLED display that’s 45 percent wider than the previous model, making it easier for users to check at a glance. It’s also light and stylish and fits comfortably. Users can also customize their tracking and make it more stylish by choosing their favorite watch faces from more than 100 presets or by setting their own photos as the background, the company said.
In addition, users can track more than 100 types of exercise anytime, anywhere and view their exercise data easily. The watch has a claimed battery life of 13 days, which is likely to be tested extensively. The Galaxy Fit3 has a 5ATM rating and IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, which means users can also enjoy outdoor activities in a variety of environments.
