ChatGPT from OpenAI is now available to all users without the need for account login
OpenAI has made a significant update to its conversational AI chatbot, ChatGPT, by enhancing its accessibility. In a recent announcement, it was revealed that users no longer need to log in to their account in order to use ChatGPT. This eliminates the need for individuals to create an account to access the chatbot’s features. However, there are both advantages and disadvantages to this change, as certain features of ChatGPT will be limited for users who do not sign in. Stay informed about OpenAI’s latest development.
OpenAI makes ChatGPT more accessible
According to OpenAI’s blog post, ChatGPT does not require an account login and users can start using the chatbot directly. This is done to improve the usability of the tool and to allow more users to take advantage of AI. OpenAI said: “The core of our mission is to make tools like ChatGPT widely available so people can experience the benefits of AI.” However, your conversions with AI are saved to train the model. But the good news is that ChatGPT users still have the option to exclude chats from training their AI models. Users can opt-out of the AI model by going to ChatGPT settings and turning off the feature to keep their chats private.
On the other hand, ChatGPT users who do not have an account cannot access features such as saving or sharing chats, using custom instructions, chat history, and more. However, the new version uses the same GPT-3.5 model as the account version. These features would only be available to users who log in to their OpenAI account. In addition, OpenAI has also introduced content protection features such as stricter content filters, blocking prompts and more to maintain the tool’s policies. However, OpenAI has not clearly defined which security features will be included in the logged-out version of ChatGPT.
OpenAI also announced that the Logged Out version of ChatGPT will be rolled out gradually and soon users will be able to take advantage of the tool without logging in.
