WhatsApp will soon let users share status updates as Facebook stories without leaving the app
Whatsapp is developing a new feature that will allow users to share their status on Facebook stories without having to leave the WhatsApp app.
WABetaInfo reports that it was possible for users to share their status updates to Facebook Stories in the past, but it involved several steps that took time and effort. However, the new feature allows users to post Facebook stories at the same time, and when the option is enabled, it’s automatic.

WABetaInfo has noted that a new option has been added to WhatsApp’s “Status Privacy” setting to allow users to share their status updates across their accounts, including their Facebook accounts. However, sharing to Facebook is not enabled by default and users must enable it manually.
When this feature is available to all users, it can save a lot of time for those who frequently post updates on both Facebook and WhatsApp.
In other news, WhatsApp is also currently working on a feature called “Voice Chats” that will be available for chats in an upcoming app update. A new wave shape icon is added to the chat title to make this easier. Additionally, users are shown a red button to end an active call.
