Xiaomi 13 Ultra release date confirmed on April 18: Is it coming to India?
Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be released on the 18th. April, and the company has confirmed that this event is for China and the global market. The new Xiaomi Ultra phone will be the first to come out of China, but after last year’s impressive Xiaomi 12S Ultra, we’re eager to see how Xiaomi and Leica have managed to improve the camera quality even further.
The company has confirmed that it will use new Leica lenses, which are likely to be different from the sensors offered by Xiaomi in the Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra launched in April: what to expect
It goes without saying that Leica cameras are once again the headliner for Xiaomi with its new Ultra phone. The flagship means it uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and the giant camera module is sure to catch everyone’s attention, as it has done with recent design leaks.
According to reports, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have four rear cameras and a flat bezel display. Xiaomi could get a model with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. A 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor is part of the package, but we’re yet to see what the other cameras have to offer.
The phone is expected to have a 4900mAh battery along with 90W wired charging speed and 50W wireless charging. We expect a 2K AMOLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra India launch on cards?
Xiaomi recently launched the 13 Pro in India and that seems to be the biggest hint that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra won’t be coming to the country for now. In addition to this, the company usually becomes very active on social media before a big launch, which has not been the case with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, at least from Indian handles. There are also reports that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra may never launch in India, which will only become more clear when the company says something about it.
