However, you must remember that if the feature is enabled, you may lose some important texts.

For WhatsApp groups in the workplace

Rather than asking your coworker or manager to resend some details, it’s best to not enable this feature at all.

For chats involving business / monetary transactions

If you are talking to a person or business on WhatsApp to buy or sell anything, don’t turn on disappearing messages for them either. It is wise to have all of these transactional conversations handy so that you can refer to them if there is any problem or dispute like uncleared payments or products not coming etc.

Of course you can still take screenshots, but how many screenshots do you really want to save in your photos?

For the cats you need to keep close at hand

It can be a conversation with a friend, family member or acquaintance and maybe just a normal conversation or a particularly awkward one where you might need to keep the conversations going in case you need to in the future. . Like an argument or a confrontational exchange or just important information.

As with chats involving money etc. you can always take a screenshot, you can do the same for those too – but like we said earlier, how many screenshots? screen will you record?

Endangered WhatsApp chats are very useful as they help to clear a lot of clutter. If you are in WhatsApp groups that are sometimes useful but filled with random referrals, you won’t be bothered by notifications at all.
