Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 Prices in India Announced: Pre-Booking, Offers, Availability and Specifications
Samsung has revealed the pricing and release dates for its newly launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in India, following their introduction at the Galaxy Unpacked event. These foldable smartphones are equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform and have an IPX8 rating.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is available in 256GB RAM, 512GB and 1TB storage variants, while the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is available in 256GB and 512GB inbuilt storage options. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 256GB variant is priced in India at Rs. 1,54,999, while the 512GB and 1TB variants are priced at Rs. 1,64,999 and Rs. 1,84,999. The color options of the device are Icy Blue, Phantom Black and Cream.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 256GB and 512GB storage variants are priced at Rs. 99,999 and Rs. 1,09,999. It comes in cream, graphite, lavender and mint colors. Both devices are already available for pre-order from July 2. d will go on sale in the country on August 11.

According to the company, customers who pre-book the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will get benefits worth Rs 20,000 and those who pre-book the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will get Rs 23,000. Additionally, customers who pre-book the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 during the ‘Samsung Live’ event from 12 noon on July 27 will additionally get an exclusive silicone case and ring worth Rs 4,199 with the purchase of the Z Flip5 and a Standing Case with Strap worth Rs 6,299 with the purchase of the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Both Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 come with IPX8 support, Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 (both Flex Window and back cover). The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is equipped with a 7.6-inch QXGA+Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display inside and a 6.2-inch HD+ cover display with Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. Both screens have a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform and runs on Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1. The device gets four operating system updates and five years of security updates. For photos and videos, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is equipped with a triple rear camera, including a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. The phone has two front cameras – one on the cover screen (10MP) and the other on the inner screen (4MP) for video calls and selfies. The device is also backed by a 4,400 mAh battery.
The upcoming device for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED 60 Hz cover display and a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED main display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen and back panel also have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

In terms of optics, the device has two rear cameras – a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera. For selfies and video calls, it has a 10-megapixel front-facing camera on its inner screen. Samsung has put a 3,700 mAh battery in the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which supports 25 W fast charging.
