AI Bing’s new feature lets users share chat responses: Know more
Tech giant Microsoft has introduced a new feature that allows users to share AI-powered Bing chat responses with others on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, email or using a permanent link.
“Some of you may have noticed that you’ve been given accelerated access to the new Bing preview as part of ongoing rollout tests,” the tech giant said in a blog post on Friday.
“Users of Edge v111.0.1661.41 and later will now see a new Bing icon in the sidebar that includes the chat and typing experiences designed for Bing Chat.”
These experiences will be visible to users who have access to the new Bing Preview.
Previously, the new Bing experiences in the sidebar were only available in the Edge Dev browser version.
The company is also testing a “Balanced” mode optimization that improves performance, resulting in shorter but much faster responses.
However, responses with Precise and Creative tones remain unchanged.
“We have increased the maximum number of rounds you can have in one conversation with Bing from 10 to 15. The total number of days has also increased from 120 to 150,” the tech giant said.
Additionally, users can now skip the waiting list and use Bing Preview on Skype with their friends simply by joining a group chat where at least one person is approved.
“We’ve improved Bing’s ability to absorb greater amounts of context in Creative voice conversations. This expanded context window enables better grounding, better summarization of long documents and pages, and longer conversations,” it added.
