Airtel’s Xtreme AirFiber Wi-Fi Service Available in Select Cities
Airtel has this week launched a fixed wireless (FWA) offering called Airtel Xstream AirFiber in India. The new wireless device will be powered by the carrier’s 5G network and is currently available to consumers in Delhi and Mumbai.
The whole point of the Xstream AirFiber device is to provide internet to people who live in fiber-dark areas where they can’t access high-speed data connections. Xstream AirFiber aims to solve this problem for its users.
This is a plug and play device that supports built-in Wi-Fi 6, which is claimed to extend indoor coverage. AirFiber is claimed to allow up to 64 devices to be connected simultaneously. According to the telephone company, the installation process is easy and the customer can do it himself.
