Android Users Experience Improved Usability Compared To iOS: Report
According to a recent report, individuals who use Android are less prone to experiencing usability issues compared to those who use iOS, indicating that Android could be a more user-friendly operating system.
Smartphone Comparison According to the service provider Green Smartphones, Android is 58 percent easier to use than Apple’s operating system.
The report analyzed 12 common actions such as “screen recording”, “how to share my location”, “how to take a screenshot” and others on Android and iOS devices.
After the analysis, Android outperformed iOS in 10 of these twelve areas, with fewer users needing to search for instructions. Android trailed iOS only in screenshots and QR code scanning, where iOS seemed more intuitive to users.
Additionally, the report noted that “about 2,26,000 monthly searches are made by users looking to perform basic and intermediate tasks on Android, compared to about 3,58,000 on iOS — a difference of 58.41 percent. This despite the fact that iPhone users the total has only slightly surpassed the number of Android users in the US.
The report looked at the number of Google searches in the United States and used the average monthly search volume for the previous 12 months in the analysis.
