All Announcements from Xbox Developer Direct: Indiana Jones Gameplay, Hellblade 2 Release Date, and More
Microsoft’s Xbox Developer Direct, held earlier today, is officially over, revealing new gameplay and details about previously announced projects. And now we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the Xbox camp with its first lineup of… party games in 2024.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gets a gameplay trailer
We finally have a name for the Xbox and PC exclusive Indiana Jones game: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The gameplay revealed that the cutscenes and traversal are presented in third person, while the general gameplay is in first person. The setting is classic Indiana Jones – ancient temples, lots of bad guys to defeat, the iconic whip and fast-paced action. The release date is still up in the air, but it’s coming in 2024.

Avowed certainly brings the RPG elements that fans have come to expect from Obsidian. The game has a flexible combat system that allows you to quickly switch between spells, sharpshooting, and melee combat. You can also combine a variety of weapons, attacks and abilities to create your own unique fighting style. The game is scheduled to be released in the fall of this year.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 comes out on May 21st
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, the sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, is one of the first Xbox Series X|S games to be released. New combat and other improvements are expected for the game. However, developer Ninja Theory has confirmed that the game will not have a physical release and will only be available digitally.
Visions of Mana, Ara; Untold history on the way too
Square Enix’s Visions of Mana is the first Mana game released for Xbox, featuring RPG-style combat. It’s also coming later this year in the summer. Coming to Ara: History Untold, it will be released on PC and PC GamePass in the fall.
