Apple BKC First Look Video: This is what India’s first Apple Store looks like
India’s first Apple store – Apple BKC Jio World Drive at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai will open to the public on April 18 at 11:00 am. We at Return Byte visited Apple BKC to see the store.
At Apple BKC, people can buy new Apple products, get after-sales support and learn more about how to use them at free “Today at Apple” sessions.

Apple BKC is offering Apple’s special ‘Mumbai Rising’ series today, which will run from Tuesday, April 18 – the store’s opening day – throughout the summer.

What is special about the Apple BKC store?
Apple BKC features a triangular hand-crafted wooden ceiling that extends over the glass facade below the exterior canopy and reflects the store’s unique geometry. Each tile is made of 408 pieces of wood that make up 31 modules per tile and a total of 1000 tiles that make up the roof. There are over 450,000 individual wooden elements, all assembled in Delhi. Upon entering the store, customers are greeted by two stone walls sourced from Rajasthan and a 14-meter-long stainless steel staircase that connects the ground level and the cantilever floor.
Apple BKC Store has more than 100 team members who collectively speak more than 20 languages. Apple has been operating in India for over 25 years, and as part of its deep commitment to the community, Apple continues its long-standing support to Akanksha Foundation, Barefoot College International, Applied Environmental Research Foundation (AERF) and others.
